Based in Gloucester, working in Gloucester, Cheltenham and surrounding areas
Most falls at home happen in the bathroom: a high bath edge, a wet floor, nothing solid to hold. We replace that with a level-access shower, anti-slip flooring and grab rails built into the design, fitted by the same team that installs full bathrooms every week.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Quotes are free and without obligation, and we aim to reply within 24 hours.
These are the adaptations already part of our bathroom work. We do not bolt on items we do not fit.
A wet room gives genuinely step-free access. On timber floors that means a gradient former recessed into the floor build-up so the threshold stays flush, then the whole floor is tanked and laid to fall. It is specialist work, not a general tiling job, and whether it is possible depends on the structure we find.
Where a full wet room is not practical, a walk-in shower on a level-access or low-profile tray removes the step over a bath edge. Replacing a bath often lets us reuse the existing drainage position, which keeps plumbing costs down.
We talk through mobility needs, the daily routine and any occupational therapist recommendations you already have.
Rail positions, seat height and shower layout balanced against a bathroom you still want to use and look at.
If you are applying for a Disabled Facilities Grant, we provide quotes and specifications in the format the council asks for.
Reinforced wall fixings, level floors and anti-slip surfaces, fitted carefully in a lived-in home.
We walk you through every feature and adjust anything that needs it before we leave.
Disabled Facilities Grants are decided by your local council. We can advise on the process and supply documents, but we cannot promise eligibility or funding.
We are bathroom fitters, not occupational therapists. We build to the recommendations you have, and we will say if something needs a professional assessment first.
We are not a gas company. Bathroom electrics go through a Part P electrician rather than being done by us.
Every accessible bathroom depends on the room and floor. You get a free, written, itemised quote after we have seen it.
We are based at 37 Boundary Place, Gloucester and fit accessible bathrooms across Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Stonehouse, Malvern, Ledbury, Newent and Ross-on-Wye, within the GL1 to GL5, GL18 to GL20 and GL50 to GL53 postcode districts. If you are just outside, ask and we will tell you honestly whether we can take it on.
