Why a bathroom team makes a good plumber

Most household plumbing sits in or around the bathroom. Because we fit complete bathrooms, we are used to working on the pipework behind tiles, under trays and inside boxing, and we know how to reach it without causing more damage than the fault itself.

It also means a small repair can be finished properly. If a leak has damaged sealant, grout or a tile, we can put that right on the same visit rather than leaving you to find another trade.

Is it urgent, or can it wait for a booked visit?

It helps to know what to do first. If water is escaping, turn it off at the stopcock, usually found under the kitchen sink or where the supply enters the house. If a single appliance is leaking, look for an isolation valve on its supply pipe and turn the slot across the pipe.

Once the water is off, most faults can safely wait for a booked visit in working hours. Send us a photo of the problem and of any valves nearby; it often lets us bring the right parts first time.

How a plumbing job works with us

  1. 1

    Describe the fault

Call, or email photos showing the problem and the pipework around it.

  2. 2

    Quote

We give you a clear price before any work starts, free and without obligation.

  3. 3

    Repair

We find the cause rather than just the symptom, fix it and test it.

  4. 4

    Tidy up

Any sealant or grout disturbed is made good and the area is left clean.

Helping us diagnose the fault before we arrive

A few details make a plumbing visit quicker. Tell us when the fault started, whether it happens all the time or only when something is running, and whether anything changed recently, such as new work nearby or a cold spell. Photos of the pipework, the make of tap or valve and any visible markings on parts are especially useful.

If the fault is a leak, note where water appears first and whether it stops when you close an isolation valve. That simple test often narrows the cause down to a single joint or fitting, which means we can bring the right washer, cartridge or connector and put the repair right on the first visit rather than coming back.
