We isolate the fault, stop the leak, clear the blockage or cap the failed pipework, safety first.

24 Hour Plumber FAQs

Are you genuinely available 24 hours?

For genuine Gloucestershire plumbing emergencies, yes, out-of-hours calls are answered and we'll either dispatch immediately or talk you through damage limitation if a daytime visit is safer.

What counts as a real emergency?

Burst pipes, uncontrolled leaks, sewage backup, failed stop-taps and water near electrics are real plumbing emergencies. Dripping taps and slow drains aren't 24-hour calls, and we'll tell you that honestly to save you the call-out fee.

How much is an out-of-hours call-out?

Out-of-hours work in Gloucestershire carries a higher call-out than daytime, but we quote it before we travel, never inflated on arrival. Many "emergencies" can be made safe over the phone and finished cheaper in normal hours.

What should I do while I wait?

Turn the water off at the internal stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink), open the lowest cold tap to drain the pipework, and keep clear of any wet electrics. We'll talk you through it on the call.
